I have the same exact models of some pistols made in the same year and the numbers are so wildly different that there is no way to correlate a comparison. It says.38 Special on one side of the barrel and Amadeo Rossi S.A. I even brought up my Taurus handguns, sixteen of them, and there is no rhyme or reason behind those numbers as well. I think that the numbers are randomly generated so they are unique. Both of the rifles are proudly stamped "Braztech" and have all the Braztech features. I have purchased 22 Rossi rifles manufactured since Braztech took the reins and have two that start with "K" with the year of manufacture being 20. I say again that there is no rhyme or reason to the serial numbers and any specific letter does not mean a thing. Was that an online check or a call to customer service?
